Terry Ford
Terry Ford, Vice President, Property & Casualty, joined Gregory & Appel in 2012. With a diverse client base and focus on several classes of business, Terry is a second generation insurance industry professional. Prior to joining Gregory & Appel, Terry worked several years within the independent agency realm, developing a passion for creating strong client partnerships and fostering advocacy throughout the entire risk management process. Terry’s dedication to client advocacy stems from his experience as a former Deputy District Attorney for Denver County in Denver, Colorado. Since then, he’s developed several areas of expertise: Resort Properties, Staffing, Not-for-Profits, Manufacturing and Contracting Operations.Terry first became aware of CMBC in 2015 through fellow Board Member, Brenda Schultz, accepting her invite to play in CMBC’s annual golf outing. In 2017, he was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma, a rare type of cancer that affects smooth muscle tissue. Little did he know at the time, but his personal journey would bridge a direct link to CMBC’s founding member, Stephenie Jocham. Marked by faith, with the support of family and friends, Terry overcame his bout with cancer and was discharged from care in November 2018. In a natural next step for Terry, he became an active CMBC Board Member in February 2019. Terry earned his B.A. in Electronic Media from Xavier University, J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and holds his Indiana Agents License. He resides in Carmel, Indiana with his beautiful wife, Traci, and their two incredible kids, Cole and Mackenzie.
